People came up to us from the very start of the day - passed hors d'oeuvres - to the dinner/dessert - to the late night snacks - raving about the food. AT. A. WEDDING.

“Agnes used to own the Village Tea Room in New Paltz, so I was familiar with her food. We contacted her for a tasting, and we were one and done. Didn't need to look anywhere else. The hardest part was deciding which entrees to include since they all looked so good! We chose her Sour Cherry Beef Brisket and the Apple Cider Pork Shoulder. Everyone raved over it. Our two sides were the mashed potatoes and the English Peas...I had people tell me how much they hated peas, but they ate all of hers! The charcuterie spread for the cocktail hour was so good, the bride was lucky to get a single bite thanks to her sister. The best thing was everything was sourced locally so we could show off our lovely area to our guests who had come from out of state. Agnes is also famous for her Bee Cake, but she does others wonderfully as well. We went with 3 small cakes: The Bee Cake, a lemon curd cake and Japanese style Strawberry Short Cake (bride's request which was spot-on). Service was excellent. Everyone was so kind. I'd give 10 stars if possible.”

She is one of the few caterers who really cares about the ingredients she's using, whose home is stocked with pickled ingredients and preserves that she makes and uses throughout the year. And the flavors in her food are unmatched as a result -- you can taste the care and ingredient quality in every dish. “Agnes made the desserts for our wedding at Liberty View Farm. Because we were having a farm wedding in the fall, we wanted to serve pie for dessert instead of traditional wedding cake. Agnes made the most gorgeous pies for us - 6 different kinds: shaker lemon, apple, blubbery, pecan, pumpkin, peach. We also decided to order one small cake - Agnes' unique, beautiful and delicious honey bee cake.
The desserts at our wedding were DEVOURED! We ordered more than recommended and guests gobbled up every last bite. People are still talking about how much they enjoyed the pies and honey bee cake. Seriously delicious.
