How does your wedding floral design website score?

When the portfolio is the product, how it is labeled decides who finds it. Nine on-page checks, scored in about ten seconds.

We fetch one page, run nine checks, and keep nothing. Five checks an hour per connection.

The nine checks

The same nine checks as the main scorer, with what each one means for wedding florists.

  1. Title tag15 pts

Present and 30 to 60 characters.

One title per page, naming the work and the area you serve, not "Gallery" on all of them.

  2. Meta description15 pts

Present and 120 to 155 characters.

  3. Mobile viewport15 pts

A viewport meta tag so phones render the page correctly.

  4. H1 heading10 pts

    Exactly one, with real text.

  5. HTTPS10 pts

The page loads over a secure connection.

  6. Image alt text10 pts

At least 80% of images describe themselves.

Describe the arrangement, not the file. "Blush garden rose and ranunculus bridal bouquet" is a search someone is making. "IMG_4821" is not.

  7. Structured data10 pts

    Any schema.org JSON-LD block.

  8. Page weight10 pts

The page is under 3 MB.

Installation galleries are heavy by nature. Compress before uploading, because a slow page loses the couple before the flowers load.

  9. Contact affordance5 pts

A phone link, an email link, or a form.

Not an SEO tool’s opinion. We watch what they type, which vendors they open, and which sites they leave in four seconds. These nine checks are the ones that changed who got opened.

Website score FAQ

What wedding florists ask before they run the check.

Because your work is photographs, and a search engine cannot see a photograph. Alt text is the only way it learns that an image is a blush garden rose bouquet rather than a file called IMG_4821. Describe the arrangement, the palette and the setting, and your portfolio becomes searchable.
