Director of Vendor Partnerships
About the Role
We are now hiring a Director of Vendor Partnerships — a builder, a relationship-driven operator, and someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment with extremely high upside.
This is a foundational role responsible for owning, scaling, and leading our entire vendor ecosystem.
The Director of Vendor Partnerships is the driving force behind the growth of WedStay's vendor network. This leader develops, manages, and nurtures relationships with wedding vendors across all major categories (photographers, florists, planners, caterers, DJs, rentals, décor, experiences, etc.) and ensures each vendor has an exceptional experience on our platform.
Your mission is simple: Build, optimize, and grow the vendor side of WedStay into a category-dominant revenue engine.
Responsibilities
- Vendor Acquisition & Growth — build and execute vendor acquisition strategy across all markets
- Vendor Relationship Management — act as primary point of contact for all vendors on the platform
- Vendor Portal Operations — oversee entire lifecycle from onboarding to ongoing engagement
- Performance, Data & Optimization — track vendor performance and analyze conversion data
- Cross-Functional Collaboration — work with marketing and property teams
- Leadership & Long-Term Growth — build and lead a team of vendor coordinators and account managers
Requirements
- 3–7+ years of experience in partnerships, vendor management, business development, sales, or a similar role
- Strong experience in building or managing a network, marketplace, or ecosystem of service providers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable with CRM tools, project management systems, and reporting dashboards
- High integrity, emotionally intelligent, and capable of representing the WedStay brand at the highest level
